Arab Today - Missouri

Flood waters continue to rise in Missouri The body of a 4-year-old boy was found near a Missouri creek Tuesday morning after the car in which he was riding was swept away by flooding, officials said. Pulaski County deputies were looking in the Waynesville area for the child's mother and others in the car, KYTV, Springfield, reported.
Sheriff Ron Long said 60 to 80 homes in the town were flooded when two creeks rose rapidly after more than 4 inches of rain fell after midnight.
At the request of local emergency management directors, the U.S. Army sent helicopters and boat rescue teams to Waynesville.
