The Arab Administrative Development Organization
Cairo - Arab Today

The Arab Administrative Development Organization (AADO) will hold its 16th annual congress on competitiveness and challenges before Arab countries in the coming ten years in the Qatari capital Doha on November 27-29.

The organization secretary general Nasser Al Qahtani said in a press release issued Sunday that the gathering coincides with the repercussions of the grinding economic crises the Arab countries are facing.

The current political and economic challenges in the Arab region prompted Arab states to review their economic and development policies, said Qahtani, pointing out that the economic crises triggered many problems such as economic stagnation, decline in growth rate and increase of unemployment.

The conference will be attended by 20 economic experts from 20 countries namely Egypt, Yemen, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Somalia, Iraq, Pakistan, Sudan, Palestine, France, Britain, the United Arab Emirates, Denmark, Belgium, the United States, Mexico and Nigeria.
