Her account is presented chronologically, beginning on the 28 January 2011 "Friday of Rage," as it became popularly known. Soueif is an internationally-acknowledged writer with several well-received books to her name, including 'In the Eye of the Sun' and 'The Map of Love,' the latter of which was shortlisted for the 1999 Booker Prize For Fiction.
