HE President of Qatar's Administrative Control and Transparency Authority Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, on Saturday visited the Katara 2nd Traditional Dhow Festival, organized by the Cultural Village, Katara. HE Al Attiyah toured a number of the pavilions including heritage, boats, and dhows, and listened to briefs from the managers of the different pavilions. Fishermen, pearl-divers, and traders from Africa to India, relied for hundreds of years on dhows for the most part of their lives. Katara 2nd Traditional Dhow Festival began earlier on Tuesday, Nov.13 and concludes here today,Nov.17.
