Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir has sent a letter to his South Sudan counterpart President Salva Kiir containing an official invitation to visit Khartoum. Sudan Ambassador to Juba-Dr. Mutrif Siddiq has handed the letter to the South Sudan President Salva Kiir. He told Sudan Radio Service Thursday that the letter confirmed that the upcoming summit between the two presidents will discuss a set of issues of common concern and strengthening bonds of friendship and cooperation between them. He noted that Salva Kiir's visit to Khartoum comes within the framework of mutual benefit and good neighborliness, peaceful coexistence and promoting historical correlation between the two peoples as well as addressing the outstanding issues to reach a comprehensive settlement for the benefit of regional stability for the region.
