Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika delegated his Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ramtane Lamamra to ink the Paris Agreement on climate in New York on April 22.
The agreement was approved in December 2015 in France by representatives of 195 countries after the 21st conference on climate, according to a statement of the Algerian Foreign Ministry.
The statement added that Lamamra will participate in New York on April 21 in discussions on the goals of sustainable development 2030 organized by the UN General Assembly.
