Algerian Prime Minister, Abdelmalek Sellal, has affirmed the strength of his country’s relations with Saudi Arabia, adding that Algeria is looking forward to raising its cooperation with Saudi Arabia to the level of “strategic partnership”.
In an interview with the “Sharq Al-Awsat” newspaper ahead of his visit to Riyadh, Sallal said that his country wanted to increase the volume of trade exchange with Saudi Arabia, and achieve direct interaction between businessmen from the two countries through permanent mechanisms, while focusing on enhancing cultural exchange and strengthening coordination on Umrah and Haj.
The Algerian Prime Minister lauded the experience of the Gulf Cooperation Council, describing it as a unique experience in enhancing regional complementarity, given its success and efficiency.
