Azhar imam invited to Italy's Interfaith Dialogue Festival

Grand Imam of Al Azhar Sheikh Ahmed el Tayyeb on Tuesday received an invitation to take part in the Interfaith Dialogue Festival, slated for May 12 in Italy's Florence.
The invitation was delivered during the imam's meeting with Italian Ambassador in Cairo Maurizio Massari.
The two sides discussed ways to promote cooperation between Al Azhar and Italy.
The ambassador expressed pleasure over the visit by the Azhar Imam in Italy, where he is scheduled to meet with the Italian foreign minister and senior political and cultural figures.
