Bahrain Information Minister Stresses Country's Ability to Preserve Stability
Manama - Arab Today

Bahraini Information Affairs Minister Ali bin Mohammed Al Rumaihi stressed that Bahrain with its national and Gulf unity and humanitarian values of tolerance, coexistence among faiths and cultures and rule of law is capable of beating the forces of evil, misguidance and terror, and facing external campaigns that aim to undermine the country's sovereignty, independence and internal affairs.
In statements carried by state news agency BNA, Al Rumaihi affirmed the importance of the legal measures recently taken by the country to preserve "the homeland's security and stability, unity of the community and pushing the reform and development march amid the political sectarianism and terrorist organizations, as well as external interference in Bahrain's internal affairs." He reiterated Bahrain's rejection of sectarianism, incitement and political dependency, reaffirming equality before the law under a developed legislative system and independent judicial authority, BNA reported.
The minister stressed that measures taken against the rioters and terrorists are in conformity with the constitution and international legal conventions signed by Bahrain.
