Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs, Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirza, said preparations are in high gear for holding the First Energy Investment Forum and accompanying exhibition STEEB 2017 to be held in September at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center.
The minister added the forum will focus on drawing a comparison between the latest developments in solar energy, renewable energy and technology and other sources of energy.
He said energy experts from investment institutions interested in financing energy technology companies, research institutions and universities will attend, as well as representatives from the United Nations, diplomatic missions and GCC and Arab chambers of commerce and Industry.
He pointed out the government’s interest in establishing the Sustainable Energy Unit to search for alternative energy sources for ensuring a secure future, stressing the importance of investing in renewable energy in support of national economy and preserving the environment
