Ban Ki-moon to visit Iraq Monday

United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon will be expected to pay an official visit to Iraq on Monday, said the media office of the Iraqi presidency on Sunday. Media Adviser of the Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Al-Mossawi said in a short statement that the Secretary General would hold a meeting with the Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki over a number of issues pertinent to the region chiefly the Syrian issue. Al-Mossawi gave no more details or whether the visit would have to do with the situation in Al-Anbar.
