UK Prime Minister David Cameron called for a genuine democracy in Egypt after yesterday's bloody events which accompanied the clearing of two protest camps of supporters of deposed president Mohamed Morsi who was removed from power by the military over a month ago after mass demonstrations calling for his downfall. "What is required in Egypt is a genuine transition to a genuine democracy," he said. "That means crompromise from all sides - the president Morsi supporters but also the military - that what needs to happen," he said as quoted by the international media. He warned that violence is not going to solve the problems in Egypt.
