Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Seoul the Capital of South Korea to hold talks with South Korean President Park Geun-hye - as part of an official tour which includes North Korea.
The two sides will discuss ways and means of boosting their bilateral relations and how to deal with DPRK's nuclear programme, according to South Korean officials.
South Korea and the PRC are expected to sign several agreements pertaining to strengthening of bilateral relations, strategic communication between high-level officials in both countries, paving the way for an FTA as well as launching the Direct Remittance Market via the currencies of both countries.
The volume of bilateral trade between South Korea and the People's Republic of China (PRC), the largest economy in Asia and the second in the world, reached US$ 228.9 billion last year according to a statement issued in South Korea.
