Chinese vice premier visits Pyramids plateau
Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong

Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong and her accompanying delegation visited Giza Pyramids plateau and voiced deep admiration of the old Egyptian civilization and the pyramids builders.
Yandong was accompanied by Director General of the Pyramids District Hussein Abdel Basseir. She listened to a detailed explanation about the history and antiquities of the Pyramids plateau.
Minister of Antiquity Khaled el Anani accompanied the Chinese official during her tour of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.
The two sides reviewed means of bolstering cooperation between Egypt and China in the field of using modern technology in the protection of archaeological places.
