The Ethiopian delegation underlined the importance of culture in civil interaction between nations.
For his part, the culture minister said Ain Shams University has a department teaching the Amharic language, which will help boost the translation movement between the Egyptian and Ethiopian literature.
The meeting was attended by Ethiopian Ambassador to Egypt Mahmoud Derir, who stressed that the cultural momentum between the two countries has to be exploited in promoting cultural cooperation.
A number of Ethiopian fine artists are willing to display their artwork in Egypt, the envoy said.
