Prime Minister Sherif Ismail on Monday paid visits to the headquarters of communications and military production ministries.

The visits aimed to review detailed data for projects and programs of the two ministries, in preparation for drafting the government's program to be presented to the next parliament.

The premier issued directives to the Military Production Ministry to study entering in the automotive and accessories industry, and the establishment of a factory for blood plasma derivatives and another to produce baby milk.

He also ordered to increase the number of technical school students to meet the needs of the labor market.

The prime minister also issued directives to coordinate with ministers concerned to increase the production of smart electricity and water meters as well as LED bulbs and the headlamps.

He also ordered to allocate land for new technological zones that will be established by the Communications Ministry, increase the telecommunications sector's exports, study the establishment of Egyptian post offices in Gulf states, and launch smart villages in Upper Egypt governorates.

The prime minister said that the modernization of infrastructure in all sectors has become an urgent necessity that can not be delayed.
