Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr Abdulhussain Mirza received a delegation from MANTECH Logic Company, headed it’s Executive Director Salman Bader Kaikso, who was accompanied by a number of officials from UAE-based Green Parking.
The minister was briefed by the visitors on the technologies implemented by the company in the field of electric car chargers, which have been installed a large number in the UAE and Oman.
They expressed their desire to establish a relationship with the Sustainable Energy Unit of the Electricity and Water Authority and implementation of these technologies in Bahrain.
Dr Mirza said that the government attaches great importance to promoting the use of clean energy for comprehensive sustainable development.
He added that the use of electric cars would contribute to achieving national goals in the use of renewable energy and raising the efficiency of energy use in Bahrain.
The visitors expressed their thanks and appreciation to the minister and officials for the welcome and for opening the prospects of cooperation with local and international companies according to the opportunities available. The meeting was attended by Adel Al-Taho, Advisor to the Minister and a number of officials of the Sustainable Energy Unit.
