Maronite Patriarch, Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rahi, met Wednesday at the Diman with a delegation of the Future parliamentary bloc comprising MPs Ahmad Fatfat, Hadi Hobeich, Atef Majdalani, Jean Ogassapian, Nabil De Freij and Amine Wehbe. MP Fatfat said discussions with the Maronite Patriarch featured high on the recent stances "which express the aspirations of the Lebanese people to get out of the crisis." The Deputy confirmed the support of the Future bloc to the positions of the patriarch, particularly those related to the need to apply the Taef agreement and to form a neutral government. They also applauded his objection to the weapons proliferation as well as the murder and abductions. The Patriarch received later on Tony Sleiman Frangieh, accompanied by the pastor of Ehden-Zgharta, father Stephan Frangieh.
