Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry arrived here on Sunday to take part in the march called for by President Francois Hollande to condemn terrorism.
Shoukry's participation reflects Egypt's unwavering support of France in face of terrorism and the importance of rallying international efforts to fight this gruesome phenomenon.
Some 50 world leaders, including UK Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, are expected at the Paris march today.
On Wednesday, two masked men barged into the headquarters of the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo in Paris, killing 12 persons. A day later a gunmen shot to death a female policewoman in Montrouge south of Paris.
On Friday, a gunman killed four Jewish hostages in a kosher supermarket in Paris before being gunned down by Police.
