Cairo - Arab Today

Former president Adly Mansour on Sunday chaired the founding meeting of the Egyptian Bourse Society for Sustainable Development that will put the pillars for the biggest charity society in Egypt.

The meeting included Presidential Adviser for National Projects Ibrahim Mahlab, Assistant Justice Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Khaled el Nashar and Head of the Egyptian Bourse Mohammed Omran, former sport minister Taher Abu Zeid, lawyer Mona Zulficar, Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Bourse Wagih Mostafa and former presidential media adviser Ahmed al Meslemani.

The meeting witnessed the issuance of the founding statement of the society. It said the establishment of the new society comes in response to an initiative launched by former president Mansour to adopt the implementation of some development projects in the health domain and support Abul Reish Child Hospital.

The society also reflects the Egyptian bourse's approach to serve the society and achieve a sustainable development, the statement read.

The Egyptian bourse has adopted Mansour's initiative and its board approved the establishment of the society with a fund worth EGP 5 million. The society board will include a number of public figures who are known for their long-standing reputation in the service of the society in several fields.

The meeting approved that Mansour will chair the Trustees Council of the society and assigned the bourse chairman to finalize the establishment measures of the society
