HRH Premier praises solid relations with Qatar His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received the Qatari Premier and Interior Minister Shaikh Abdulla bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, who arrived here today to attend the closing of the "Arabian Gulf Security 1" exercise. Shaikh Abdulla bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister greetings from the Qatari Amir, HH Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and his appreciation of the role played by the Prime Minister in supporting and strengthening Bahraini-Qatari relations in various fields. The Prime Minister praised the advanced level of relations between Bahrain and Qatar, and the steady progress of cooperation between them in various fields, reiterating Bahrain's keenness on bolstering cooperation at the bilateral and GCC levels. HRH Premier affirmed that relations between the two countries, which are based on the principles of fraternity, mutual respect and common future vision, have achieved a lot of complementarity for the best interests of "our one people". HRH Premier lauded the progress and development boom currently witnessed by the State of Qatar in various fields. He requested his Qatari counterpart to convey his greetings to the Qatari Amir, as well as his wishes of abundant good health to him and of further progress and prosperity to his country. HRH Premier and the Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister reviewed the latest regional and global developments, stressing that the current challenges require intensifying GCC meetings at all levels to adopt visions and strategies that safeguard the security and stability of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and maintain the prosperity and development enjoyed by their peoples thanks to the efforts of their leaderships. The Qatari Prime Minister and Interior Minister expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Premier for his interest in enhancing the solid Bahraini-Qatari relations which, he said, are based on mutual love and respect, affirming that his country seeks to back all efforts aimed at achieving more GCC coordination to enhance GCC countries' ability to deal with all developments in the best way.
