Iraqi FM Ibrahim al-Jaafari invited to visit Damascus
Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari

Iraqi Foreign Minister Ibrahim Al Jaafari received on Monday an invitation from his Syrian counterpart Walid Moallem to visit Damascus.
Syria's ambassador to Iraq handed the invitation to the top Iraqi diplomat during their meeting in Baghdad.
Jaafari promised to respond to the invitation in the near future.
The meeting tackled means of boosting bilateral relations.
