His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army attended a military exercise at the Royal 91st Armored Brigade, one of the formations o King Abdullah II 3rd Armored Division.
The King, who was accompanied by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mashal Mohammad Zaben and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, checked on preparedness of the units in the drill which was carried with the participation of Cobra helicopters and F-16 jet fighters.
His Majesty also checked on an advanced vehicle for communications that enables the commander of the brigade to have a high level of command and control on the brigades' units.
Commander of the brigade presented a briefing on measures taken to carry out the drill, stressing that brigade is fully prepared to address future challenges.
Earlier today, the King attended a drill performed by a commando unit in the presence of the army chief and HRH Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein.
The exercise included field applications with the use of use of various weapons withe support of Royal Air Force planes and the joint special operations.
His Majesty voiced admiration of the advanced level the participants in the drill have reached.
