Jordanian King Abdullah II, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces, on Monday attended a joint exercise, carried out with the German armed forces.
Upon arrival at the site, the king, who was accompanied by Prince Faisal Bin Al Hussein, was received by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Mahmoud Freihat and the commander of the Joint Special Operations.
The exercise included hostage-freeing and anti-terrorism operations in which security personnel displayed high professional standards in performing their tasks.
The king and the attendees voiced admiration of the high level of planning and coordination between the participating units.
The drill was attended by the German ambassador in Amman, the commander of the German Special Forces and a Jordanian army senior officers.
