US Secretary of State John Kerry arrived today in the Sultanate of Brunei, the last stop on his two-week tour of seven countries in Asia and the Middle East.
During his two-day visit, Kerry will take part in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Regional Forum.
On the sidelines of the ASEAN conference, he is scheduled to meet with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov to discuss the Syrian crisis, North Korea and the issue of the US leaker Edward Snowden who is stuck in the transit area at Moscow airport.
Kerry will also meet during the visit with his counterparts from China, Japan, South Korea and other Asian countries.
