Kuwait will be the guest of honour of the 17th edition of the Sharjah International Narrators Forum, SINF, under the theme ‘Biographies and Epics’. The three-day event, to be held on 25th September, features narrators, storytellers, performers and experts from 28 different countries.
In a press conference today, Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Sharjah Heritage Institute Chairman, said that the event includes a number of qualitative additions, including the pre-emptive training workshops, which have already commenced and will continue until the end of the forum, and the huge diversity of the forum's programme, including cultural centres and scientific seminars.
Dr. Al Musallam, who is also the Chairman of SINF Supreme Committee, said, "It is an honour to host the 17th edition of Sharjah International Narrators Forum. Over the years, the forum has served as an important platform that resonates with narrators and storytellers in today’s society. This year, SINF looks to interact and share experiences of some of the world’s renowned narrators and appreciate their skills and unique ability to create emotions. Taking this as an opportunity, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for attending this conference and for your interest in promoting the heritage and culture of your nation."
Dr. Al Musallam expressed his appreciation of the support provided by H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
