The Hague - Arabstoday

International Criminal Court prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo will hold a press conference on Tuesday to discuss the ruling on his request that the judicial body issue arrest warrants for Muammar Abu Minyar Gaddafi, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi and Abdullah Al-Senussi for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The ICC Pre-Trial Chamber I will make its ruling on the Moreno-Ocampo's application on Monday, 27 June. Moreno-Ocampo launched his investigation into the three figures at the beginning of March, and requested arrest warrants on 16th May. The investigation follows President Gaddafi's refusal to step down from power, and the violent unrest that has rocked the North African country since mid-February. The ruling and press conference will be broadcast live online and via satellite.
