Baku - Arab Today

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev praised the Bahraini-Azerbaijani ties and said he is looking forward to the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to his country soon.
'Our relationship with Bahrain is excellent of which we are proud and we maintain our communication with its leadership and we are happy with the visits undertaken by Bahraini officials,' President Ilham Aliyev said as he received Mohannad Sulaiman Al Noaimi Acting Director-General of Bahrain News Agency (BNA) and Chairman of the Federation Arab News Agencies (FANA) on the side-lines of the 5th Forum of International News Agencies.

President Aliyev expressed his delight with the level of existing bilateral ties, affirming the two countries keenness on consolidating the cooperation ties.

He said his country is keen to provide facilities to Gulf tourists such as cancelling visas and providing them with visas upon arrival. He said this resulted in boosting the number of Gulf tourists - including Bahrainis - to more than 10 folds.
