Mariam Mohammed Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs has inaugurated the First Emirati Fingertips Exhibition for Productive Families at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event is held under patronage of H. H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai and UAE minister of finance. Present were Mirza Hussein Al Sayegh, Director of Office of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, Member of Board of Trustees of Al Maktoum Charity Foundation, Naji Al Hai, Acting Undersecretary of the ministry, Hussein Al Sheikh, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Affairs Sector and a number of invitees and sponsor companies for the productive families. Al Roumi expressed her admiration about the quality of products featured by the productive families. The exhibition includes 80 pavilions, showcasing Emirati made handicrafts; women and men clothes, Arab perfumes, handicrafts that reflect heritage and identity. She added that the state is keen on supporting the Emirati productive families due to their significant role on reviving the original Emirati heritage and national identity. The UAE minister hailed the support of Sheikh Hamdan to the productive families, adding that many of them earn good income.
