His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has received students taking part in the Journey of the Union Initiative, accompanied by Jameela Al Muheiri, Minister of State for Public Education.
??The Journey of the Union initiative - launched by the Al Bayt Mitwahid Association - is a 10-day journey through the seven Emirates targeted at Emirati youth in high school. The journey aims to increase the students’ knowledge and appreciation of the seven Emirates through visits to leading industries and companies, landmarks, historical and cultural sites, in addition to engagements with high-level representatives of the government, semi-government and private sectors.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed congratulated the students on their participation in this initiative, which aims to promote national identity and the spirit of belonging to the nation and leadership, and to gain scientific and practical expertise that deepens their knowledge of the UAE's heritage and national achievements at various levels.
He expressed his happiness to meet with the students, praising the efforts of Al Bayt Mitwahid Association and all the official bodies of all the emirates to contribute to the Journey of the Union Initiative.
The participants - a select group of 28 outstanding students from all over the UAE - expressed their happiness at meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohamed and discussing their experiences and ideas with him.
