US President Barack Obama will travel to Turkey, the Philippines and Malaysia in November, The Washington Times reported Tuesday.
The White House said Obama will be out of the country from Nov. 14 to Nov. 22 on his trip, which will include participation in a G-20 summit in Turkey, the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in the Philippines and two summits in Malaysia.
The trip "will support the president’s efforts to expand opportunities for American businesses and workers to sell their products in some of the world’s fastest-growing markets,” the White House said.
He’ll also push for a climate change agreement to limit carbon emissions, ahead of a trip to Paris in December.
