The Palestinian president was received upon his arrival by Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili,
Muscat - Arab today

President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) arrived yesterday on a two-day short visit to the Sultanate.

The Palestinian president was received upon his arrival by Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Minister of Justice, Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of State, Governor of Muscat, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Sa'eedi, Minister of Legal Affairs, Mohammed bin Yousef Al Zarafi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Mohammed bin Awadh Al Hassan, Acting Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Diplomatic Affairs, Nasser bin Mohammed Al Busaidi, Head of the Protocols Department at the Foreign Ministry, Dr. Ahmed Abbas Ramadhan, Palestinian Ambassador to the Sultanate and members of the Embassy. 

The Palestinian President is accompanied by Dr. Ziad Abu Amr, Deputy Prime Minister, Dr. Riyad Al Malki, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Al Habbash, Advisor to the Palestinian President for Political Affairs, Supreme Sharia Judge, Nabil Abu Rudeina, Spokesman for the Presidency, Majdi Al Khaldi, Diplomatic Advisor to the Palestinian President, Dr. Ahmed Ramadhan, Palestinian Ambassador to the Sultanate and some officials.
