The President of the Pan African Parliament (PAP), Roger Nkodo Dang, expressed his support for the return of Morocco to the African Union, stressing that such a return gives an important addition to the work of the continental organization.

Nkodo Dang said, in a statement to the media in the twenty-eighth summit of heads of state and government of the countries of the African Union, hosted by the Ethiopian capital on 30 and January 31, that "Morocco is an African country, and his return to the bosom of the organization will be an important addition that enables us to discuss African issues together.

The President of PAPstressed that the return of Morocco will help in strengthen efforts at the continent and finding solutions to the problems of Africa.
