Pope Tawadros II decided to postpone receiving guests this week at to greet him on being selected as Egypt's 188th Patriarch over current developments in Egypt, papal secretary Angelos Ishak said Monday. Ishak told MENA that Pope Tawadros was scheduled to receive Muslim Brotherhood Supreme Guide Mohamed Badie on Tuesday but the current incidents led to delay the visit. The ambassadors of Malta and the Netherlands as well as Italian Minister of International Cooperation Andrea Riccardi and a delegation from the Lebanese Catholic Church were also expected to visit the pope, the secretary added. The enthronement of Egypt's Pope Tawadros II took place on November 18.
