South Sudan president Salva Kiir Mayardit will embark on an official visit to Khartoum on Friday for talks with Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir and senior Sudanese officials. In statements to Khartoum's al-Ahram newspaper out Sunday, Sudanese Information Minister Ahmed Belal said the visit crowns the development which happened in relations between south and north Sudan. Talks during the visit will tackle cooperation deals between south and north Sudan, Belal said. Belal voiced hope that the positive developments in South Sudan would push forward the cooperation talks.
