President Abdel Fattah El Sisi inspected on Sunday an expo of the Next Technology Leaders (NTL) initiative graduates at the new International Conference Center in the 5th Settlement district of New Cairo.
During the tour, Sisi listened to an explanation from two secondary school students on the project of a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV), that can conduct some underwater operations such as fixing internet cables.
He was also briefed by a youth on the usage of robots in education.
The NTL initiative offers a blended learning environment by facilitating study groups for learners so that they get engaged with other learners and get coaching and mentorship within their geographical area through a national network of study group mentors and project reviewers.
The president was also posted by graduates of the NTL initiative on their projects including one on IT production by designing games and programs to be widely used by others.
The president and the graduates, including those who explained their projects, posed for a photo-op.
