Saif bin Zayed heads UAE’s delegation to GCC

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, attended the 35th regular meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Interior Ministers, held here on Tuesday.

Earlier, he was received by HRH Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior.

The Saudi Crown Prince chaired the meeting and welcomed the Interior Ministers of the GCC member states in his opening speech.

"We have recently witnessed on the land of the Kingdom of Bahrain the GCC Joint Drill - the Arabian Gulf Security One - which is a bright model and practical application of the GCC joint security," Prince Mohammed bin Naif said.

Colonel Dr. Ibrahim Al Dabal, General Co-ordinator of the Khalifa Student Empowerment Programme, Aqdar, made a presentation on the programme as a pioneering initiative for promoting awareness and social responsibility.
