Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan
Dubai - WAM

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, and Chairman of the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of Interior's employees, has launched a website created for the "Fazaa" project, part of the supportive initiatives provided by the Social Solidarity Fund for employees of the Ministry of Interior.

The project provides a wide and unique range of services designed to support MoI employees, and is aimed at developing social interdependence and bonds of solidarity to the highest levels.

Sheikh Saif bin Zayed stressed the MoI's commitment to developing and offering the finest services and advantages for its staff members, in order to achieve job satisfaction incentives for employees and their families by catering to their needs and facilitating their livelihood. This gesture stems from the strong belief in their valuable role, and recognises their essential contributions to the UAE and its people.

The "Fazaa" project is a pioneering initiative in social work, providing new supportive services to MoI members and increasingly enhancing economic cooperation between the ministry and the public and private sectors. This would guarantee the welfare of the public and promotes competition between suppliers and partners, and would create additional incentives and opportunities to bring happiness to the MoI's staff members and their families.

In a statement during the ceremony, Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, stressed that the project embodies the MoI's strategy to become an optimal work environment conducive to solidarity, and to remain an attractive workplace for the various professional national cadres.

Dr. Al Nuaimi also noted, "The project includes a wide range of tailor-made services, including no interest loan schemes with repayment facilities, in addition to discounts programmes and unique promotions, personal accident insurance, car insurance with competitive prices, rent-to-own car service, and financial coverage for medical treatment abroad."

He also pointed out the police leadership's keenness at the Ministry of Interior to activate the role of the fund and develop its resources to guarantee distinguished services to the ministry's staff members. He noted that the fund is aimed at enhancing the spirit of solidarity and social cohesion, achieving cooperation between members to reduce the financial burdens they may face, and provide social and health services for them and their families.

Dr. Al Nuaimi also noted that enhancing and developing the level of solidarity services is a priority for the fund. To this end, it endeavoured to achieve partnerships and sign agreements with national institutions and companies to provide distinguished services to the MoI staff members for minimal fees and affordable conditions. He also explained that the added value of such partnerships lays in the fact that they are collective agreements that encourage companies to provide their best services.

The official launching ceremony was attended by Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Office of H.H. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Interior for Naturalisation, Residency and Ports Affairs, Brigadier Salem Al Shamesi, Director-General of the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of Interior's employees and Major Ahmed bu Haroun, Deputy Director-General of the Social Solidarity Fund for the Ministry of Interior's employees, and Fazaa Project Manager.
