Shaikh Fawaz patronises launch of green broadband

Bahrain Broadband Company has today launched its new broadband network "Greenisis" on an experimental basis. Information Affairs Authority (IAA) President Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa patronized the launch ceremony. Bahrain has thus become one of the pioneering countries in the world to provide the wireless low emission environment-friendly broadband known as "Green Broadband". Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) has licensed Bahrain Broadband Company to provide broadband and other services.
