H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, today chaired a meeting of the Council at the Sharjah Ruler’s office.

The executive council discussed several issues regarding development of work systems in local departments and institutions to serve the UAE nationals and residents living in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The council also ratified the minutes of the previous session and reviewed a number of topics related to the development of government work in service projects, being implemented by the emirate in different regions.

The council issued resolution No. 2 of 2017 regarding the establishment and formation of the local committee in the emirate for the "Year of Giving" initiative. Under the first article of the resolution, a temporarily committee called " The Local Committee of Year of Giving" was set up. The committee will coordinate the efforts to implement strategic initiatives of the Year of Giving.

The meeting also discussed a number of proposals for future developments and projects that would ensure best facilities and infrastructure across the emirate.
