Sheikha Moza witnesses Qatar research strategy forum

HH Chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser on Monday witnessed the activities of the State's National Research Strategy Forum held at the student centre at the Education City here today. The forum was attended by those in charge of the research institutes affiliating to the QF along with representatives of a number of other governmental organs and institutions concerned with the scientific research in the state . The participants discussed the real application of the aforesaid strategy to ensure the achievement of the cherished goals. The National Research Strategy is an umbrella aiming to include all projects and research visions in Qatar as it assembles universities , scientific research centres , the governmental organs and the business and energy sector and link them directly to Qatar National Vision 2030 with a view to turning Qatar's economy to an economy based on information.
