President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's participation in the important economic meeting of Egyptian-French businessmen reflects mutual trust between the two countries, a French official said.
Patrick Lucas, the Co-Chairman of the French-Egyptian business council, asserted on Thursday that the participation demonstrates the joint desire to boost bilateral trade and investment cooperation, he added.
In statements to MENA, Lucas described the expected visit of Egyptian president and his accompanying delegation to France as being important as it comes after the restoration of stability in Egypt.
Investments between Egypt and France are stable as there are about 80 French companies working in Egypt, Lucas underlined.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries in 2013 hit 2.5 billion Euros, of which 1.2 billion Euros are Egyptian exports to France in exchange for 1.3 billion euros as French exports to Egypt.
He underscored that the French side is looking forward to increasing the trade exchange between the two countries in the coming period.
In a related context, Lucas called upon the French companies to participate in Egypt's important Suez Canal project.
