Omani potato chips have become a big hit on eBay, where they are selling for as much as $100.
Described as “crispy chilli flavour snack family pack,” they are being sold in sets of 10 packets, each weighing 50 grams. According to the eBay site, 41 sets have been sold so far.
In Oman, the popular snack can be bought for 50 baisa per packet. The seller has only been identified as a “free-omani-bird,” who is based in Oman, appears to have been registered on eBay since 2012. Buyers have been promised free economy international shipping, with a proviso that if the buyer is unhappy, they can return the chilli crispy flavour snack within 14 days and get their money back.
