Algeria set a goal is to reach zero cases of newborns with HIV, Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform Djamel Ould Abbes said Tuesday in Algiers. "We have set ourselves an objective of zero cases of newborns with HIV, by implementing a national strategy for prevention of HIV-AIDS transmission from mother to child," said Ould Abbes, adding that this goal is "within reach of Algeria."
