Denver - UPI

The Colorado Department of Transportation is airing public service announcements warning marijuana users: "Drive High, Get a DUI." The "Drive High, Get a DUI" campaign is being rolled out by the department with three TV ads targeted toward young men taking advantage of the state's legalization of recreational marijuana use, USA Today reported Wednesday. One of the ads features a man installing a TV on the wall seconds before it crashes to the ground. "Installing your TV while high is now legal," the text in the ad reads. "Driving to get a new one isn't." "As Coloradans now have more access to marijuana, we want them to be aware that law enforcement is trained to identify impairment by all categories of drugs and alcohol," said Col. Scott Hernandez, chief of the Colorado State Patrol.
