The Gulf's health industry could attract an estimated US$160bn in investment by 2015, Al Hayat reported, citing a medical study without indicating who it was carried out by. The heath industry in the region grows about 11 percent annually, with Saudi Arabia and the UAE seeing the fastest rate of growth, the Saudi-owned newspaper reported. GCC states allocated US$21.5bn last year on the health industry last year,  Al Hayat reported.
