The National Immunization Campaign against measles, rubella and mumps started today throughout the regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for children and youth between 9 months and 24 years old. In a statement on this occasion, the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah pointed out that the Campaign comes within the framework of the efforts of the Ministry of Health to eliminate measles, rubella and mumps diseases in line with the global commitment to eliminate these diseases from the Eastern Mediterranean Region of World Health Organization (WHO) by the year 2015. He expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, for supporting the Ministry of Health to improve health services, and to achieve distinguished health achievements at international arenas.
