Nepalese Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey thanked Egypt for the humanitarian aid supplies presented by the Egyptian government to the Nepalese to help them in facing the destructive earthquake that jolted Nepal on April 25 killing and injuring thousands.

This came during Pandey’s meeting Saturday with Egyptian Ambassador to Nepal Baher Helmi here.

Pandey lauded the historical ties between both countries.

Meanwhile, Helmi offered condolences to the Nepalese over the victims of the quakes that hit the countries on April 25 and May 12.
