Shashanka Koirala, son of former Nepalese former prime minister B.P. Koirala, on Saturday expressed gratitude to China's quick action into earthquake rescue mission.

"I would like to thank the people of China and the government for the swift response," said the politician.

Koirala said the rehabilitation progress is to start after the earthquake and China's help will be still in need.

He expressed the wishes that Nepal and China will further enhance the cooperation in sectors of tourism and agriculture.
