Oman's Ministry of Health (MoH) will launch an introductory seminar on the Patients' Rights and Duties Document under the patronage of Shaikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Salmi, Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs.
The seminar aims to introduce the Patients' Rights and Duties Document and to monitor the challenges and planned aspirations of application and areas of updating the policies and services to keep pace with the application of the document, according to Oman News Agency (ONA).
The seminar includes three sessions on global and legislative outlook for the rights and duties of patients, local laws and legislations in support of these rights and duties.
The final session will address the challenges and requirements of the health system resulting from the application of the document in the light of available resources, ONA reported.
